Find out about one of the best local hiking clubs in Westchester!

W.T.A. has provided hikers with an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors for over seventy five-years!  Some of the best hiking trails in the nation are right here in our own backyard!  Day hikes are scheduled throughout the Hudson Valley most Saturdays and Sundays. Car pools leave the parking lot of the North White Plains Train Station on Fisher Lane.
If you like to walk, and are reasonably active, WTA may be the club for you. Our members are friendly, and our hikes are non-competetive. We have an assortment of hikes, usually two per weekend, categorized by difficulty, from easy to strenuous. Check the schedule for this season's hikes. Hiking is at your own risk, so pick a hike that's right for you. The secret is to start gradually without over-extending yourself. We usually carpool to the start of each hike and share driving expenses. You are invited to hike with us as a non-member before joining.
